Ah yeah, the dub'll do that to you. It didn't for me, but that's just me. I can very easily see it doing that for others though..... But yeah, try the sub, see if it works better for you.

Yeah, I actually watched it rather recently. I like a good sci-fi, but this one just didn't get off to a very good start. Not to mention my lack of fondness for the dub, which didn't help matters.

I don't know. I'll have to see if I can bring myself to try it again. Who knows, I might like it better the second time around if I watch it subtitled. :)

As for my first review, I'll have to see if he'll let me post it here before the new site goes live. Otherwise it may be a while before you get to read it. Nevertheless, I'm excited.

@Pasta: Well hopefully that reality show isn't anything like Ryvius otherwise I may have lost all hope in humanity...... ;) But yes, while I liked it quite a bit and is probably at least very, very close to my top 25 favorites anyways, I won't say it's really as good as to say it's absolutely REQUIRED!!! But I will say that it's good enough that I approve. :)

@Matt: I've actually thought of maybe a few reasons why you didn't like it the first time around. One could be that you watched it before you developed different tastes over time, another could be that it has a lot of space opera elements to it, and I know how you feel about those. ;) Either way I'd definitely suggest at least giving it another shot anyways, and definitely past just 5 episodes this time as well. You have my word that it does indeed get better. ;) Or at least as far as my tollerance level goes anyways.....

Anyways, can't wait to read your first review! :)

Hm. Perhaps I should give Ryvius another shot. Not sure if I will succeed in completing the series though, since the first five episodes were excruciatingly BORING. *shrug*

By the way, I am going to begin writing my first review for the new website this week. The site is not ready yet, but the editor wants to get a review backlog started all the same. The series I will be reviewing is Giant Robo.
